You will be eligible for a free flu vaccine if you are
- Over 65 years of age
- Have a chronic health condition
Measles outbreak – February / March 2019
There have been several cases of measles in Canterbury recently and significant outbreaks overseas including in the Philippines and some European countries

We recommend patients are prompt with childhood vaccinations, which are free for those under 18 years of age. Children can come for their 15 month immunisations after their first birthday.
Those born after 1969 are eligible for a course of 2 MMR vaccines.
Those born prior to this time, are considered to be immune.
